For aromatherapy, perfumery and cosmetics uses. For infections and wounds, sore throats and respiratory problems. Diffuse to relieve headache and migraine, stress, anxiety, depression and to purify the air. Lemongrass has been used for ages to repel insects like mosquitoes and flies. Good for cleansing the skin and anti-acne, fights fungus that causes athlete’s foot, ringworm, jock itch, inflammation and excessive perspiration and good for body massage.
Blends with: Lime, peppermint, frankincense, ylang-ylang, lemon, orange, jasmine, rosemary, ginger, basil, eucalyptus, cinnamon, turmeric, lavender, chamomile and more.
Dilution
Highly concentrated, dilute with a carrier oil, also called vegetable or base oils such as jojoba, sweet almond oil, apricot kernel oil, avocado oil, borage seed oil, carrot oil, corn oil, hazelnut oil, evening primrose oil, soya bean oil, sunflower oil, wheat germ oil, sesame oil, safflower oil and peanut oil (Arachis nut) olive, or grapeseed oil to use on skin.
Side effects
Food and Drug Administration (FDA) certified Citronella oil as generally safe.
Caution: Keep out of reach of children. Do not drink. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. If you are pregnant, nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition, consult a health professional before use. In the event of an allergic reaction, discontinue use.
