On the light strip is a button that can be attached to walls or other surfaces. The button of the light strip is used for the first time pairing and to turn the light on or off. The Xiaomi Yeelight Aurora Lightstrip Plus can be controlled using the Mi Home app or Yeelight app. In addition, the Xiaomi Yeelight Aurora Lightstrip Plus is also controllable by voice control with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. The light strip is also compatible with Apple Homekit. The cord of the light strip can be extended up to 10 meters with the optional 1 meter extension cord.

The Xiaomi Yeelight Aurora Lightstrip Plus has many options in the app. With the Power option you can switch the light on and off. With the Colour option, you can easily adjust the colour of the lightstrip to your liking. In addition, the LED strip can also automatically change colour to the beat of music with the Music Flow option. Simply choose four colours and the strip will cycle through them one by one. Using the Timer option, you can easily set when the light strip should be turned off. The Xiaomi Yeelight Aurora Lightstrip Plus has a number of preset scenes including sunrise, movie and night mode.
