Dilution
Peppermint oil is highly concentrated, dilute with a carrier oil, also called vegetable or base oils such as coconut oil, castor, jojoba, sweet almond oil, apricot kernel oil, avocado oil, borage seed oil, carrot oil, corn oil, hazelnut oil, evening primrose oil, soya bean oil, sunflower oil, wheat germ oil, sesame oil, safflower oil and peanut oil (Arachis nut) olive, or grapeseed oil to use on skin.
