Tall Horse takes its name from a nickname given to giraffes when they were first brought to Paris from Africa in the 1820s. Like these elegant creatures, Tall Horse wines stem from Africa, and their grapes are grown in near perfect conditions in the famous Western Cape Winelands. Marked by rolling vineyards and majestic mountains, the Cape Winelands are spectacular in beauty and blessed with a rich winemaking heritage that is over 350 years old.
The vineyards from which Tall Horse sources its grapes benefit from long hot summers and cold wet winters with cooling ocean breezes to create balanced, expressive wines packed full of fruity flavours.
Jaco works tirelessly to ensure that all Tall Horse wines consistently deliver fruity and finely tuned flavours.
Tall Horse wines signify the ultimate African expression, and masterfully balance ripeness with natural fruit acidity to create the signature style of its wines.
